This simple trick is a real time saver for many things from removing grass stains in blue jeans to removing that pesky chromatic aberration (purple fringing). All without using the clone tool which would take a lot more time.

1. Create a new layer by clicking on the icon found at the bottom of the layers palette.

2. In the drop down menu for the layers palette, select “color”.

3. Now select the eye dropper tool (shortcut: i) and click on the image to choose the color you want.

4. Select the paint brush tool (shortcut: b) and begin painting over the area you are repairing. If you need to change the color or shade, select the eye dropper tool again and sample a new area.

Voila!
